Not receiving my one year subscription of better homes and gardens.

I sent in a card on 10/28/24 for a 1-year subscription. I have called Better Homes and Gardens twice and am not getting any results. My second call was today. I asked for a supervisor after getting the run around with a representative. They completely disconnected me. Why have I not received the magazine?

I was sent a copy of the Southern Living Desserts book which I returned unopened to you. I wrote 'Cancel' on the package.

I also returned the invoice to you with 'Returned' written on it. My account # is 30862****. I did not order this book and will not pay $50.62 for an item I did not keep. You state that I am not obliged to buy anything.

That doesn't seem to be the case. Please stop billing me for an item that I do not want and have already returned to you.

I called numerous times and kept getting the same thing. Your wait time is 24 mins.and 31 secs.

I tried again a couple of days later.

This time just music nothing else. Frustrated, I just hung up.

Unexpected Charge to Credit Card

I've been a subscriber to Southern Living Magazine for years. Today I noticed a charge on my credit card from Meredith Southern Living for about $42.

I called customer service, and was told that it was an automatic one-year renewal for my magazine subscription. I have never placed an order via credit card for this or any other publication, because I know they will rip you off! You can find one-year subscriptions to Southern Living for $12 or less. I am mystified how they got my credit card number.

I think it must have been from years ago when Amazon sold magazines. A word to the wise: NEVER BUY A SUBSCRIPTION FOR A PUBLICATION WITH A CREDIT CARD!

I ordered a cook book, paid for it up front. I received and enjoy that book.

I was sent another book that I did not order, I called and it was worked out, charges dropped.

I was told to keep the book.

The next day ANOTHER book came via USPS that I DID NOT ORDER. So here I go again.

You website does not work to pay for books!

Initially, when I tried to sign in to my account, it kept telling me that my session had timed out. Now, and for 2cweeks every time I try to sign in it tells me that an error occurred while processing my request.

You sent me a book, if you want me to pay for it, I suggest you fix your web site!

No finally got some help of the telephone because they didn't speak very good English had to keep asking him several times what they were saying but supposedly we won't have to pay for the better homes and gardens book that they sent us without a permission and a bill so after 25 minutes of waiting to someone to answer the phone I finally understood what the lady was saying and we all straight now supposedly won't have a bill they're going to send one but she said disregard
